Beginner
These lessons are designed for young beginners.
- Start by introducing the topic and drawing topic pictures.
- Facilitate students’ vocabulary building of what they drew in the pictures.
- Facilitate sentence construction. (These were designed for Japanese learners, but you can change the language). WORD 2007 format (.docx) and PDF.
- Skills: drawing, writing, reading, speaking.
These are student centered tasks which are motivating as the students express their own experiences about the topic and you, as the teacher, help to draw out the language. The focus is to help students develop topic related vocabulary and sentence construction (i.e. grammar) in a personally meaningful way.
Intermediate
These are designed for high beginner low intermediate students (15 years and older). PDF and Word 2003 files.
